Very comfortable hotel in historic setting

Very comfortable hotel in historic setting We picked this hotel mainly because it was a convenient stopping point fairly close to the motorway on a long journey down to the Alps but we would happily return for a longer stay. The room was excellent and spacious with very effective air conditioning (very welcome as it was the middle of the recent heatwave). Dinner in the restaurant was of a very high standard and the buffet breakfast was excellent.
